on a personal note....had been thinking that after enjoying bread & cheese on a very regular basis I would be hunting for some raisins or prunes...maybe hot whole kernal corn covered in chocolate syrup would work just as well?...chuckle Maybe I'll make my home-made chocolate sauce (aka flukum) to pour over some fresh corn as a welcome home 4 you. :-D

You and you're nose!! Of course that's the biggest memory retainer there is. That's actually been proven in research and educators are encouraged to have a smell in their rooms to help kids recall from previous lessons! Just hopefully the smells are good ones and not preteen 7th and 8th grade body smells!!! :) An articule I read said that it's like 90% perfect recall on memories when a smell is associated with it. And most people remember the food someone use to make, like Grandma's house. One of my most fond memory of camp is the smell, it's always the same and every year it's stepping back into the memories past and just enjoy the sensation! I'm glad you've gotten the chance to revel in the sensation too! Aaaahhhhh!

Missing you sister! Take care and I love you!

I could eat good bread, cheese & tomatoes with every meal, but sub onions for the cucumbers. Glad you are being blessed in so many ways. Keep up the good work & remember how much you are loved. Stay safe & well...and have a good week!

I'm pretty sure it goes, "Feed MY sheep" and not, "Feed ME sheep". ha! Glad to hear you found some A/C & your lost luggage. Now, quit your slacking and get back to work! jk :^D Thoughts and prayers continue to be with you on your journey. May the wind be always at your back, whether it be mechanical or meteorological; may your cup overflow with ice; and above all...May His agenda be completed! <3 U more

Yea!!! I'm so glad you're there safely!! Did you have tomatoes and cucumbers for breakfast? Just wondering! I loved being able to talk to you on the phone today, think how much technology has improved! You couldn't hardly get a connection on the phone back in the 90's when you first started going and you had to find a phone to use because most of the people didn't have one. And today you Syped in the apartment!! I did remember to give Rick a "high five" for you. I talked with Sharon and Cathy too. I actually remembered!! The ladies Wed. night class prayed for you too, lead by Fairy Cooper. We did a devotional tonight in class, it was good.

You and the team (but you most importantly, in my opinion)
are in our minds and prayers daily. I pray blessings of great success measured by God (not man's measurely tape!) He knows the work you're doing and that's the most important thing. Keep a blogging, it's a blast to read it.

Love you girl!!

Hey....after seeing your posts, I understand God's promptings. Wow! What a ride! So glad you have arrived safely. Hope you still get to enjoy the "welcome" festivities planned for Saturday eve. Prayers continue for you specifically, the team in general and our Lord's Church in Dnep.
Don't forget that I am "looking" for a little guy named Lukas. If you happen to find "him"....let me know where to meet you. :^] Deb
